Boskovice library site is located on the border of the historical center (Jewish ghetto) and residential part from the 1950s . There used to be a traditional jewish compact block of buildings.
The project follows the shape of the historic compact block, defines the square with a currently disfunctional fountain, the courtyard follows traditional Jewish buildings. Exterior conforms to the historic surroundings. The grid and the rectangular layout of the reading rooms corresponds with the interiors of the panel houses. Every visitor finds his favourite atmosphere where he wants to enjoy his book. Whether it is the monastery chapel or the living room. It is your own inner world, which is hidden under the shell of the original character.
